Must Watch: Would you love your wife less for becoming fatter? True love keeps no record of weight, let this video inspire you.

Man Writes A Song For His Wife Declaring His Love For Her No Matter Her Weight When this husband found his wife’s journal, he shamelessly opened it and read her painful admission. She was devastated at her recent weight gain and felt hopelessly out of control. Determined not to stand by and watch his wife and best friend become unhappy, he decided to step in and intervene. Declaring his undying love for her, no matter what her size, he wrote and performed this song for her. With lyrics like “Do it for yourself and your health. In your journey to become lean, you can always lean on me.” And, “I could care less if you have a slim body, because I love you for the qualities that you embody.” He goes on to sing "I love you through thick and thin. True love keeps no record of weight." As women, at one time or another I think we all feel a little insecure. Unfortunately, in today’s society being thin in what is asked of us. What a wonderful and supportive man to step up to his wife’s aid and help her realize that beauty comes from within, and what makes a woman beautiful is her kindness and compassion, her love for life, her passion. Thank you for the wonderful reminder! Enjoy the video below:

Buy Nigerian: Nigeria is accused of being a highly consuming Nation and very low in productivity. While there is nothing wrong is consuming, everything is definitely wrong with zero or low productivity. It is also a truism that our consumption of imported goods is colossal while our patronage of made in Nigeria goods is epidemic. In the pursuance of bettering our economy and increasing our productivity as a Nation, the Olusegun Obasanjo presidential administration banned the importation of a myriad of foreign goods. In his statement, while appealing to Nigerians and friends of Nigeria to patronize locally, made goods, President Obasanjo noted that "charity, they say, begins at home. If you do not buy your own goods, how do you convince others that they are of high quality?

As someone who patronizes made in Nigeria goods with pride, I can publicly attest to the fact that they are just as good, if not better than imported variants." The aftermath of the ban only increased smuggling in of foreign goods and had no positive impact on improving Made in Nigeria goods. This was largely due to in-sufficient policies or plans for industrial growth in Nigeria. Nevertheless, there have been notable developments in the country’s Art, Music and Furnishing industry. We have witnessed a boom in made in Nigeria Fashion, Music, Movie, Furnishing etc. However, we are still toddling in Tech, Textiles, Agricultural and Petroleum product production. In 2014 there was a release of a Made in Nigeria car under Jonathan’s administration but its success in regards to usability and patronage is yet uncertain. Continue......

#MustRead: Why Nigeria is the best country in the whole wide world by Femi Aribsala

Two weeks ago, I paid a visit to Dubai for the very first time. Dubai is everything Lagos is not. Dubai works: Lagos does not. Dubai is spotlessly clean: Lagos is filthy. Dubai is bathed in gleaming electricity. Lagos is shrouded in darkness. Dubai is organized. Lagos is disorganized. After a few days in Dubai, I longed to be back in Lagos.

What is the attraction of Lagos relative to a city like Dubai? The answer is actually very simple. Lagos is the very best city in Nigeria; the very best country in the world. I have traveled all over the world. I have been to the Far East, to the Middle East, to North and Latin America and to Europe. I have been to over 30 African countries. This qualifies me to make this assessment. Nigeria is the very best country in the whole wide world.

Be patient with Buhari, northern elders urge Nigerians,

Following concerns expressed across the country on the seeming slow pace of the Muhammadu Buhari’s administration, northern elders have urged Nigerians to be patient with the president.

This is just as a former head of state from the north, it was learnt at the weekend, met with the president to inform him of the general concern among political stakeholders that the delay in forming government was grounding government and business activities in the country.

Meanwhile, the presidency and Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, were yesterday locked in a war of words over calls by the opposition party for prayers to deliver President Muhammadu Buhari from his difficulties in forming his government.

The fireworks on Buhari’s first 30 days in office came as concerns grew about the increasing drift of sensitive and high ranking positions in a section of the country.

In the latest development on alleged skewed appointments, there were concerns among South-East and South-South political stakeholders that the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, may have been zeroed down to the North East thereby putting the region away from the top six positions in the country which with the exception of the vice-president are all domiciled in the North.

There were also concerns in Abuja at the weekend that the South could also lose out in the ongoing reorganisation of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC. Read on after the cut........

Creating A Peace Haven In Your Home (2)

This does not mean your home is filled with lit candles or dim lighting and soft music, simply creating a peaceful atmosphere with some fresh flowers, a subtle neutral scent and a comfortable place to sit and chat. Gave you a part one of this edition yesterday and i thought i should add a little more insights that will help you understand this even more.

I believe that every home should be welcoming and comfortable as well as beautiful and functional and I also believe that this is possible if only we all have the right mind set not just the cash as most people think.

Every thing starts from the mind, yes everything even a clean and functional environment starts from the mind so also the reverse tacky and untidy environment/ambiance also starts from the mind. So lets get our minds right on this. KEEP YOUR HOUSE CLEAN Please. This are my easy simple steps, just five of them and you will be glad you acted on them.

Abike Dabiri appeals to husbands to use their wives as their next of kin.

Abike Dabiri-Erewa
A former member of the House of Representatives, Mrs. Abike Dabiri, has urged men to write a will and testament in case of eventualities.

Dabiri spoke at the International Widows’ Day held at the United Nations Information Centre (UNIC) in Lagos.

According to her, it is important that men have a legal declaration which covers their wives to manage property and ensure the distribution of such.

“Men should use their wives as next of kin instead of brothers or sisters who often neglect the wife and children in times of need. Painfully, it is even women who often harass their dead siblings’ widow the most.

“You widows should be bold to report molestation or any form of abuse or harassment and be ready to take legal actions. Especially when your dead husband’s family talk about surrogacy, that is for your dead husband’s older or younger brother to marry you,” she said.

She added that widows should be outspoken about their challenges, assuring that the First Lady, Hajiya Aishat Buhari, is committed to empowering Nigerian women.
