Gov. Oshiombole commends Buhari's ministerial list, appeals to Nigerians to support Buhari.

Adams Oshiomhole, the governor of Edo state, has applauded President Muhammadu Buhari for the recent nomination of ministers, whom he described as “quality hands”.

The Punch reports that Oshiomhole praised the president, speaking at an event to launch an autobiography, ‘This is My Life: The Journey So Far”, written by a former vice chancellor of the University of Jos, Professor Emmanuel Emovon.

“People may have political issues but in terms of the quality of those people, I have not seen any of them that anybody can dismiss as not worthy of his nomination.

“And so we are going to have a presidency and a Federal Executive Council manned by men and women that are determined to lead the path of change and all of us can contribute to make that change happen,” he said.

Speaking further, the governor called on Nigerians to support the president’s effort to build a new nation.

“The future that I see and the future that President Buhari is determined to build is the one in which there would be strong relationship between effort and reward and your effort can only flow from what you know. It cannot flow from what you do not know and it cannot flow from who you know.”‎

Oshiomhole unveiled the book, which he described as a timely contribution to Nigeria’s national development, with the sum of N10 million. According to the governor, N7 million on behalf of Edo people and N1 million each for himself, his children and members of the state executive council.
