10 Federal Roads That Fashola Needs To Attend To Urgently


Former governor of Lagos state, Babatunde Fashola, is one minister appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari who Nigerians expect to perform.

This is because of the former governor’s commendable performance as the number one citizen of Nigeria’s commercial capital – Lagos.  

In the eight years he presided over the mega city, Fashola instituted progressive reforms that changed the face of Lagos.

The Senior Advocate of Nigeria tripled the internal revenue of the state, reduced the crime rate in the state by setting up the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) in partnership with the private sector, invested in several public infrastructures that made life easier for Lagosians.

He is also reputed for changing the face of traffic management in the state, improving on the environmental sanitation in the state and enforcing rules that were hitherto abandoned by previous administrations in the state.

One of the challenges that Nigerians face is the bad road network and the state of the roads across the country which many are hoping Fashola will address as soon as possible. Continue.......
