Abia State Government to feed 30,000 pupils daily.

 

30,000 pupils from 10 local council areas in Abia state, will now be fed three times a week.

This is under the Universal Basic Education feeding scheme of the Okezie Ikpeazu led government.

This was revealed to newsmen by Bonnie Iwuoha, the state Commissioner for Information and Strategy.

Iwuoha went further to enumerate the giant strides of the government adding that that the children have good water to drink, the Governor has approved 52 water schemes.

He did not leave out the on-going reconstruction of 42 roads in the state.

Abia is a state with a major business hub in the South Eastern part of Nigeria.

Okezie Victor Ikpeazu is the ninth Governor of Abia State, Nigeria. He was elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
