#FillUpTheDome: South African youths slam Jacob Zuma for praising Cassper Nyovest.

South Africa’s president, Jacob Zuma have been slammed by critics after he was seen making South Africa’s Twitter trend list for publicly congratulating SA rapper, Cassper Nyovest. The ‘MIMI’ rapper made history over the weekend after he was the first South African to fill the Ticketpro dome to capacity, selling 20 000 tickets to fans. In a statement released by the presidency, Zuma applauded Cassper’s historic feat.

At the end of his speech, Zuma fumbled over the ANC membership numbers, struggling to read out the exact figures. Now critics have poked fun at the president, asking if he knows just how many people can fill the dome? And how come he was quick to congratulate Cassper on his concert (which was supposed to be a youth show), but is yet to say anything on the on going #FeesMustFall protest.
