#MustRead: Africans need another 100years of recolonisation - Donald Trump

Read the nauseating but thougt provoking article below:
Once again, Donald Trump, the Republican top contender for the presidency of the United States of America, has dropped another divisive bombshell when, in Indianapolis, he lashed out at Africans, saying that they need another 100 years of recolonisation because they know nothing about leadership and self-governance.

Trump’s latest diatribe against African countries is that Africa is led by kleptocrats who are stealing from their own governments and investing the money in foreign countries. From the government to opposition, he added, African countries only qualify to be used as a case study whenever bad examples are required. He lambasted Africans for lacking the productive capacity to make finished goods and still importing trivial products like matchsticks!

Nauseating as these putrid submissions are, we feel African leaders should also be challenged by them. African leaders must uphold their dignity and self-respect by eschewing corruption and consciously investing in human capital, manufacturing and infrastructure. Trump should also do due diligence checks. A majority of those powering the economies of the West are of African origin and their right of abode cannot be wished away by his erratic hate speeches and convoluted policy thrusts.

Donald Trump bitterly illuminated how he plans to reconstruct America and restore its lost glory by deporting President Barrack Obama and “his Kenyan brothers and sisters” to make America safe. This is a laughable proposition. It also brought sentimentality to the realm of the ridiculous because it is not only inconceivable that Obama could be deported; it calls to question the mental state of Mr Trump. Expectedly, his derisive remarks repulsed his rival, Ben Carson, and his camp, and they have since distanced themselves from Trump’s words. If Obama, whose shoes he intends to fill, was his target, he shot himself in the leg by his wild, uncouth utterances.

Such unprovoked attacks have become a recurring decimal in Trump’s campaigns anchored on tantrums. Trump has stunned the political establishment and garnered huge amounts of media attention from around the world by stirring controversies since he joined the US presidential race. His negative remarks about Mexican immigrants and intention to build a wall between Mexico and the US, his plan to deport 11 million illegal immigrants and his jab on the Chinese over trade relations issues were astounding. But his irreverent description of Africans as lazy fools who are only good at eating, lovemaking and thuggery is an over-kill, just as his alienation of some women voters with a critical remark about Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina’s looks. He has insulted Sen. John McCain’s military record but, surprisingly, his rating keeps soaring. We think his managers need to caution him or get him psychiatric help to curtail his vituperations on other races and gender. His kind of sweeping profiling leaves a bitter taste in the mouth. It is definitely unpresidential for someone who applies his mouth before engaging his brain. That way, he may set the world on war path before realising his indiscretion. In our opinion, a man aspiring to lead the free world cannot be such a flippant talker.
