Yusuf to sign N60m per year Eagles contract,

Officials have disclosed Salisu Yusuf will this week in Abuja sign a contract as Nigeria chief coach, which will pay him 5million Naira monthly. The former Kano Pillars and Enyimba coach was to have signed his contract before the AFCON qualifier against Tanzania in Uyo this weekend, but top officials were overseas on official duties around that time.

“The NFF president has said he should be in Abuja this week to sign his contract,” an official announced. Yusuf will, apart from assisting Rohr, will also be in charge of the home-based Eagles. He was on two million Naira every month when he assisted late Stephen Keshi and Sunday Oliseh.

Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr is on $47,000 a month, which is more than thrice what Yusuf will earn. Rohr has signed a two-year contract, which is being bankrolled by a mystery sponsor.
