Peace and Conflict Resolution Student's Forum(PCRSF), is a group of responsive and disciplined students of the Department of Peace studies and conflict resolution of the National Open University of Nigeria(NOUN). NOUN is an Open Distance Learning (ODL) institution which offers university education to all irrespective of age, status and location, with 72 study centres the length and breath of Nigeria. Therefore, the over 15,000 PCR students in all part of Nigeria have the responsibility to promote peace and unity, fairness and justice, equality and equity for the attainment of a violent free and a more peaceful and united Nigeria.

PCRSF is organising a national humanitarian support/media campaign. The campaign is targeted at improving the livelihood of the most vulnerable member of our society. Especially, the internally displaced persons (IDPs), innocent children, men and women who are affected by the effect of climate change, violent conflict and by the gruesome activities of the Boko Haram insurgents in the north eastern part of Nigeria. An event which has crippled economic, social and political activities in that area and has rendered many homeless, dejected, hopeless with nothing to feed on. The situation is pitiable and quite worrisome for the ideal and capable of escalating the relative peace of the society.

PCRSF trust and rely on your contribution and support of relief materials or funds to get food and cloth to ease the pains and the suffering of these affected innocent children and women of our community

The humanitarian support/peace and non violence campaign is expected to mark this year international Day of Peace. Each year the international Day of Peace is observed and celebrated around the world on 21 September, for strengthening the ideal of Peace, both within and among all nations and peoples. The theme for 2017 is " Together for peace: Respect, Safety and Dignity for All.
