A Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of an Abuja based civil engineering company, Mr. Moses Godia Shipi has declared that the company has the capacity to address the 17 million housing deficit plaguing the Nigerian nation if the Federal Government is willing to partner with the company

Mr. Moses Shipi, MD/CEO of La-Shipson Construction Company made this declaration Wednesday in Abuja during an interview with New-Nigeria Reporters

Nigeria- 11 quarantined over new viral disease known as monkey pox.

Concerns are rising as news of a new viral disease emerges in Nigeria. According to report, at least 11 persons, including a medical doctor, who are suspected to have been infected with the new viral disease known as monkey pox, Affected persons were discovered in Bayelsa State and they are said to have been quarantined.

According to THISDAY those affected were taken to an isolation centre created at the Niger Delta University Teaching Hospital (NDUTH) Okolobiri, Yenagoa Local Government Area.

The isolation centre was reportedly created by the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) and the epidemiological team of the state's Ministry of Health to stop the spread of the virus.

1st of October, 1960 Nigeria bolted out of colonization jail as a free Nation. 57 years later, the event is one never to be forgotten as it marked the end of slavery and a start of a new and free era for the country.
